Starting February 7th, 2010 the 4:12 Revolution Youth Group will be starting a 7 week series based on the new Christian movie "To Save A Life". This is a movie about the stuff that teenagers face each and every day. The struggles among friends to find acceptance, suicide, depression, sex, drugs and alcohol. These are just a few of the things that are teenagers face today when they walk out that door to face the real world. This series will help them to understand that no matter how much they think they are alone, they aren't. There is someone that is going through that same things, you just may not realize it.
That's what this series is all about. Realizing that you aren't alone in life. Even though you make think that nobody likes you or you don't fit in, you'll realize that God loves you and that's all that matters in life. This series will help you connect with friends that are going through the same struggles as you are. Also, it will help equip you to go out into your own schools and know how to "Save A Life"!
So come join us on this epic adventure starting February 21st at 6 p.m. at CrossRoads Christian Church (the old Big R building). I guarantee you, it will change you forever.

Super Bowl Party!!
It's that time of year again. That's right Super Bowl Sunday! Even though the Steelers aren't in it this year, I'm still excited for the biggest football game of the year. So that can only mean one thing...
PARTY!!!!
That's right, the 4:12 Revolution youth group will be having a Super Bowl party at Brian and Aubrey's house (if you've never been before call Brian for directions at 217-778-9615). We will be making some finger foods for the game and we ask that if you plan on coming that you would bring a drink of your choice and some sort of snack or finger food as well.
The game starts at 5:30 pm on Sunday February 7th. You are welcome to come a little bit before that if you wish, but the party officially starts at 5:30 pm. Oh...and one more thing, BRING A FRIEND THAT HAS NEVER BEEN TO YOUTH GROUP BEFORE!!! What better way to get someone interested in youth group than at a party. Hope to see you all there.
